NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL OF SINGAPORE The National Safety Council Of Singapore (NSCS) was first known as the National Safety Council of Singapore when it was inaugurated on 1st July 1966 by Dr. Goh Keng Swee, the then Singapore Minister of Defence. To keep up with moving times and developments and in addition to road safety involvement, NSCS also embarked on several other aspects of safety such as workplace safety & health, home safety, child safety and even safe community initiative.
The National Safety Council of Singapore is made up of elected Directors, representatives from various government agencies. National Safety Council Of Singapore works in collaboration with the Government, employer organizations, workers' unions, professional bodies, grassroots organizations and other partners to achieve our common goals of preventing accidents through safety training, including safety awareness and encouraging continual improvement in safety standards.
