► Highlights include the Tech Innovation Stage, Forum on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), and partner event Singapore WSH Conference 2022

Singapore, 14 September 2022 Southeast Asia’s leading exhibition dedicated to workplace safety and health OS+H ASIA returns in the physical format once again from today to 16 September 2022 at Suntec Singapore. Featuring a digital extension with business matching capabilities; exhibitors, visitors and delegates can also connect online through to 16 September 2022.

Showcasing over 100 exhibitors from 20 countries, the 13th iteration of OS+H ASIA is taking place as economies reopen, companies get back to business, and construction projects ramp up to pre-pandemic levels amid material and labour shortages, supply chain disruptions and increased costs — challenges that could impact workplace safety and health (WSH) practices at construction sites and in the workplace.

Ms Lee Ai Ling, Senior Project Manager of OS+H ASIA, Messe Düsseldorf Asia (MDA), the organiser of the exhibition, says: “The physical iteration of OS+H Asia will showcase a range of innovations from industrial protective clothing, height protection equipment, fall protection devices, to hygiene control solutions, Bluetooth enabled gas detectors to the first certified back exoskeleton equipment to name a few. This year’s showcase offers a comprehensive platform that will help WSH stakeholders address concerns that could lead to workplace accidents particularly since the relaxation of COVID-19 safety measures. We are encouraged by the support and participation from the exhibitors after a four-year hiatus since the last in-person edition, and look forward to a bustling next few days.”

For a period of six months from 1st September 2022, Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) plans to strengthen WSH and WSH oversight, during which companies may be debarred from employing new foreign employees of up to three months if lapses in WSH are found such as poor risk controls following serious or fatal workplace incidents, or unsafe workplace conditions.

First established in 1998, OS+H Asia 2022 will present some 1,000 workplace safety, security, personal protective equipment and hygiene products, solutions and services, and latest training programmes, with representation from local and international brands such as Brady Corporation Asia, Draeger Singapore, Fischer Bell, Innogreen Solution, among others.

OS+H ASIA serves a multitude of application sectors across industries, from building and construction, environment protection and waste management, marine and offshore, food & beverage, medical and healthcare, to hospitality. It continues to be the event of choice for sourcing of products and technologies for WSH practitioners, human resource (HR) managers, law enforcement officers, to owners of small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs) and industry professionals from around the region.

Committed to establishing itself as a regional platform for the exchange of expertise and best WSH practices, OS+HA Asia 2022 also includes thought leadership content and indemand topics. Held concurrently with the main exhibition are signature industry events such as:
