PASMA, the international not-for-profit association for the mobile access tower industry. Representing the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users, it provides and oversees the industry standard training scheme and is a major publisher of safety-related knowledge, information and guidance.
Established in 1975, SISO has more than 1,000 members who are workplace safety and health officers as well as specialists in occupational safety, health and environment, fire safety, occupational hygiene and ergonomics. SISO’s mission is to enhance competency and promote and uphold high standards of professional practice among its members.
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes. IPAF is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members, which include manufacturers, rental companies, distributors, contractors and users. IPAF members operate a majority of the MEWP rental fleet worldwide and manufacture about 85% of platforms on the market.
The National Safety Council of Singapore (NSCS) is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) with the objective of promoting safety in all areas of life in Singapore including safety at work, safety on the roads, safety in the home and safety in recreational activities and sports and the community in general.

➤ To convene or participate in forums, roundtable discussions, or stakeholder meetings on construction safety issues, transportation safety issues, or best practices in injury and illness prevention programs, and to help forge innovative solutions in the workplace or to provide input on safety and health issues.
➤ To encourage worker participation in workplace safety and health by developing a sample policy for employers focused on encouraging worker engagement in hazard identification and developing a best practice document for training and engaging workers on hazard identification and control.

We build capacity and resilience through our training academy, and volunteer and youth development. Beyond our shores, we mobilise and translate contributions from the donor community to relief and recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts, with the aim of helping communities affected by disasters.
